Finally getting over the flu after 6 days of bare functionality 
I think I was a teenager the last time I had it. This is hopefully the only reminder I’ll need to make sure I get my flu shots from now on. What an awful experience.
Oh man, 6 days out is no joke - glad to know you’re better and that it wasn’t the Covid variety of sickness!

I never used to get flu shots till my wife told me about a fellow she knew that had gotten the flu and was so hard hit he was needing organ transplants. He was roughly my age. Scared me straight, I’ll tell you.

Thanks. Yeah I haven’t been sick like that in a long time. A couple days, and recovery sure I’m used to that.
That it took 5 days before it even turned from downhill to uphill on the recovery was suprising and a little scary. I’m glad to be mostly out of it.
Glad you pulled through! Brings to mind a prayer my Dad always said. He usually said it jokingly, but there were times I think he meant it too. “Lord, if you get me out of this one, I’ll get out of the next one by myself!”
