It seems like these warehouse fires in aging facilities (aging with relation to spirits, not old) are happening quite often lately.
45,000 barrels estimated gone; however, they were relatively young barrels and are not expected to impact overall supply.

While last week’s fire at a facility in Versailles, Ky. has been put out, 45,000 barrels of aging whiskey has been destroyed. No one was injured in the fire, which was put out Sunday.
