First I am a power system engineer, and not an energy trader, but power will flow as the network fits. The energy is measured in and out of an area with exchange meters, and everyone keeps there energy use balanced. I.e. power generated, plus power purchased equals load. If you export without a buyer, you don’t make any money. If you import, without a seller, you are billed by the power pool.
