Question:

  1. Is IBC applicable to america only, Canada only, or internationally?

  2. How does ASCE 7 relate to IBC

Item #1: The IBC is applicable to whoever adopts it, worldwide.

Item #2: The IBC refers to ASCE 7 as the governing code for areas it does not want to double up on within its own text.
